1017 memory because |i * 4| is negative. This can leave the internal BIGNUM data
1018 field as NULL leading to a subsequent NULL ptr deref. For very large values
1019 of |i|, the calculation |i * 4| could be a positive value smaller than |i|.
1020 In this case memory is allocated to the internal BIGNUM data field, but it
1021 is insufficiently sized leading to heap corruption. A similar issue exists
1022 in BN_dec2bn. This could have security consequences if BN_hex2bn/BN_dec2bn
1023 is ever called by user applications with very large untrusted hex/dec data.
1024 This is anticipated to be a rare occurrence.

1099 this could be used to discover a TLS server's private DH exponent if it's

1102 OpenSSL provides the option SSL_OP_SINGLE_DH_USE for ephemeral DH (DHE) in
1103 TLS. It is not on by default. If the option is not set then the server
1104 reuses the same private DH exponent for the life of the server process and

1300 OpenSSL 1.0.2 introduced the "multiblock" performance improvement. This
1301 feature only applies on 64 bit x86 architecture platforms that support AES
1302 NI instructions. A defect in the implementation of "multiblock" can cause
1303 OpenSSL's internal write buffer to become incorrectly set to NULL when
1304 using non-blocking IO. Typically, when the user application is using a
1305 socket BIO for writing, this will only result in a failed connection.

1315 The DTLSv1_listen function is intended to be stateless and processes the
1316 initial ClientHello from many peers. It is common for user code to loop
1317 over the call to DTLSv1_listen until a valid ClientHello is received with
1318 an associated cookie. A defect in the implementation of DTLSv1_listen means
1319 that state is preserved in the SSL object from one invocation to the next
1320 that can lead to a segmentation fault. Errors processing the initial
